Welcome to Trinity!
We affirm the vision of a joyous creation-centered, nonviolent economy at the
heart of Jesus' teachings and life. We affirm that life is centered and grounded in relationships of diversity and
tolerance. We affirm, "all are welcome" as God's beloved in one global family.
We're not perfect and we're not Heaven on earth. We're strugglers who have a vision
of the way the world ought to be:
we are trying to be a community living towards that world through our lives today.

Gardening - Creation Care
Our Gardening Group -- Creation Care is dedicated to the upkeep and maintenance of or church garden.
Although a garden tender's work is never done, this group is most active from the spring to the late fall.
All are welcome to rejoice in our community garden!
Contact the Church Office if you are interested in becoming involved with the Trinity Creation Care Group!
SATURDAY SOUP
SATURDAY SOUP from 11am-1pm for the Ballard community.
SATURDAY SOUP is our relational ministry with neighborhood homeless.
We serve from 11am-1pm for the Ballard community.
We host a lunch serving delicious and nutritious soup, sandwiches and
hospitality to the homeless and lonely in the Ballard community. The success of
this mission and response from our congregation and community has been tremendous.
We consistently serve between 50 and 150 people and the numbers continue to grow as
the word gets out. Volunteers come from the community, our wonderful choir, as well
as from other congregations.
For volunteer opportunities contact the church office. The time requirement is minimal and
the rewards are great. Donations of paper napkins, small paper cups, books, or magazines can be made
in the Saturday Soup Donation box in the parlor. If you would like to make a monetary donation to help
with supplies, please contact the church office.
We invite everyone to come on Saturday and have a delicious bowl of soup and a sandwich with us. Great
things are happening and we would love to see you there! -- Amy Barrett

accidentally locked out!

TRINITY SAYS NO TO TORTURE
There is a growing religious movement across the nation lifting up public voices against the use of torture.
This movement, National Religious Coalition Against Torture has asked faith communities to hang banners
publicly voicing our faith-based opposition. Our banner reads simply, TRINITY UMC SAYS TORTURE IS WRONG.
It has the e-address of WWW.NRCAT.ORG which we encourage you to check out.
